A committee was established to investigate attacks on journalists, including the bombing of the vehicle belonging to JIN TV last month, in Northern and Eastern Syria.
A committee was formed by the Free Press Association (YRA) and the Cizre Human Rights Association to investigate attacks on journalists, including the bombing of the vehicle belonging to JIN TV, in Northern and Eastern Syria, on 23 August.
Making a written statement on the establishment of the committee, YRA announced that a group of journalists, lawyers and human rights defenders will take part in the group.
The statement said that the attacks against journalists in Northern and Eastern Syria said: "The behind the scenes of the attack on the JIN TV vehicle will be clarified and those responsible will be exposed."
The statement added that the report to be prepared will be submitted to the relevant international institutions in due time.
On 23 August, a Turkish drone hit a vehicle belonging to JIN TV, killing employee Necmedin Feysel and seriously wounding journalist Delila Egid.
