HPG Heftanin Provincial Command issued a written statement to warn the village guards participating in the Turkish invasion attacks.
The Command said: “The village guards from the villages of Bejüh, Mergeh, Hedriş and Kerör lead this operation. We say to these vile people that what they do will not be left going by. As you burned the homes of our people, you became a target for us."
The Heftanin Provincial Command's statement said: “In Heftanin we do not fight only one state's army. In Heftanin, we are resisting against the army-like mercenary force that has sold itself for money in Kurdistan and from outside.
Although we warned many times before, these mercenaries did not listen to our warnings. Finally, a vile attack was carried out against the villages of Pirbula and Banike. We did not intervene to prevent harm being done to our people in this area. We know this mercenary army from Cizre, Nusaybin and Sur. If we had intervened, they would have massacred our people in the villages.”
The statement added: “The guards of the villages of Bejuh, Mergeh, Hedriş, Kerör were leading this operation. We say to these vile people that what you do will not be left going by. Neither our people nor the guerrilla forces will forget what you have done.
When the time comes, you will be held accountable.”
