Imrali delegation continues meetings in South Kurdistan

The Imrali delegation from the DEM Party continued its scheduled program in South Kurdistan.

The Imrali delegation of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) arrived in South Kurdistan on Saturday as part of their visits following their meetings with Abdullah Öcalan.

The delegation met this morning, Sunday, with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) President Masoud Barzani. The meeting took place in Barzani's office in Pirman (Saladin) district, in Hewlêr (Erbil).

Tomorrow, Monday, the delegation will meet Kurdistan Regional Government President Nechirvan Barzani.

Due to some adjustment in the schedule, the delegation’s program in Sulaymaniyah (Silêmanî) has also been delayed by one day. On Tuesday, 18 February, the delegation will hold three separate meetings in Sulaymaniyah with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President Bafel Talabani, Qubad Talabani, and Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed.

Abdullah Öcalan’s messages will be conveyed during the visits, and opinions and suggestions regarding the ongoing process will be discussed.

The delegation consists of the following members: Imrali delegation members Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder; Democratic Regions Party (DBP) co-chair Keskin Bayındır; Asrın Law Office lawyers Özgür Erol and Ibrahim Bilmez; DEM Party Foreign Relations Commission co-spokesperson Berdan Öztürk; MPs Gülcan Kaçmaz Sayyiğit and Mehmet Kamaç.
