ISIS terrorists in Maxmur with food and medicine from Turkey

Two days ago ISIS attacked the Maxmur refugee camp. The guerrillas dug up the ISIS terrorists' hideout. Two attackers were killed and medicines and food from Turkey were seized.

On Sunday around 2 pm local time, an ISIS group attacked the Maxmur refugee camp near the South Kurdistan city of Hewlêr (Erbil). The attack was directed against camp residents grazing their sheep in the region. Three shepherds were injured in the attack.

A guerrilla unit of the HPG (People’s Defense Forces) started an operation against ISIS gangs together with the self-defence forces from Maxmur. Two of the ISIS terrorists were killed in the following firefight. Guerrillas dug up the ISIS terrorists' hideout and seized vests, food and medicine from Turkey, as well as weapons, ammunition and telephones.

So far it is unclear where the jihadists got the Turkish food and medicine from.

Turkey supported the ISIS again and again and used it as a weapon especially against Kurds. The self-administered refugee camp in Maxmur in particular has been targeted by both Turkey and the ISIS.
