The Kurdistan Alliance Work issued a statement calling on people to pursue the national unity. "It is time to let aside the differences and build upon common denominators with the spirit of national unity. Today is the day when we need to establish national unity against the colonialists who stir discord among us, pour gasoline on our differences, and continue their invasion and attacks. Our national alliance, which started with the local elections of 31 March 2019, continue today when we are working to reach our people, our political parties and to embrace Kurdish national values together in order to spread them to a wider area and to make them permanent."
The statement listed a number of calls:
"* Let's grow with the national alliance that we will realize our power to protect the gains of our people, especially the gains in the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Northeastern Syrian Autonomous Administration. We should work to establish a South Kurdistan and Rojava administrations' convergence-partnership.
* The Government of Kurdistan, the Rojava Administration and our political parties should adopt an attitude by scrupulously examining the balances between global and regional powers and possible tensions and conflicts.
* Let's solve our differences with the awareness of Kurdish national unity.
* Based on what has been done to the Kurds until now and new problems we are likely to face in the coming period we have to comply with the national unity because our people want it.
Our people will win, our country will be free with national unity."
