In a written statement issued today Martyr Sema Koçer-Martyr Tekoşin Amanos Vengeance Unit said: "The AKP-MHP fascism attacks Kurds at every opportunity. Its political and military operations in all Kurdistan and Turkey's metropolitan areas continue uninterrupted.
However, the people of Kurdistan will not bow to the attacks and will step up resistance and act with a common spirit and consciousness for their own health and safety.
All revolutionary, left-socialist youth of Kurdistan should, on this historical occasion, punish collaborators of the AKP-MHP fascist regime and destroy every institution that provides economic support."
The statement continued: "The Vengeance Units will continue with our line of action that will frustrate the attacks of fascism."
The Vengeance Unit gave the following information about the actions that they carried out in Van recently:
"On April 8, an AKP councilor was targeted in the Gündoğdu neighborhood in İpekyolu district.
On April 14, invading intelligence officers were shot by self-defense units with hand-made explosive in Edremit district. The enemy vehicle was damaged. Our units returned safely to base.
On April 19, our self-defense Vengeance Unit made a propaganda action by taking the streets to protest the attacks on Maxmur and Zinî Werte in Xaçort neighborhood of İpekyolu. The invading enemy police officers who came to disperse the action were shot at with short barreled guns and handmade explosives. The enemy withdrew after the clashes. Our units provided security in the neighborhood until morning.
On April 20, in Yeni neighborhood of the İpekyolu district, the collaborative BİM market and the workplace vehicle belonging to the market were burned. Both the building and the vehicle sustained material damage.
On 20 April, the vehicle of the collaborator AKP council member Veysi Mutlu was burned and damaged in İpekyolu.
On April 22, in Karşıyaka neighborhood of İpekyolu, the house of an AKP collaborator and village guard, Mehdi Toran, was fired at and handmade explosives were thrown. Our approach will be different if he does not stop his cooperation.
On April 23, a graffiti action was carried out in the central districts of Van. The writing was 'freedom for political prisoners.'
