Turkey bombs area in Wertê
It has been reported that the invading Turkish state has bombed an area near Zînî Wertê, where tension has been escalating for days.
According to RojNews, Turkish fighter jets bombed the mountain Ehmed between the village of Zergelê in Qandil and Zînî Wertê at 4.30 am local time.
According to the first information received, the attack resulted in no loss of life, however material damages have been reported.
The Turkish attacks directly threaten the lives of civilians, as the Ehmed mountain is a place frequently visited by Zergelê and Zinî Wertê residents to gather grass in the spring.
The Turkish attack took place at a time when tension is quite high because of the KDP's deployment of military forces to Zînî Wertê. It is stated that this military movements in such a strategic regiorn, pose a threat to Qandil and appeared to be a decision made together with the Turkish state and targeting the PKK.
