Two brothers were assaulted with gun by unidentified persons in Urmiye city of East Kurdistan. One lost his life, while other was wounded seriously.

It was reported that two brothers named Rýza and Kazým Mirzayi were assaulted by unidentified persons on 8 November Monday. While Kazým Mirzayi lost his life after the assault, his brother Rýza Mirzayi was wounded seriously.

The brothers are reported to be registered in Têbetan village in Tirgewer region of Urmiye.

The reason behind the attack is still not known.

At least three Kurds lost their lives in armed attacks in the last 3 weeks.
