Another group of civilians rescued from ISIS trap in Raqqa

Special units of the Syrian Democratic Forces have rescued a group of civilians from the mine trap of ISIS in Nazlat Shehade neighbourhood of Raqqa.

Special units of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue to rescue civilians from the clutches of ISIS gangs in Raqqa city.

Early Tuesday morning, a mine planted by ISIS exploded on the route of civilians that fled ISIS gangs and tried to reach SDF-held areas in Nazlat Shehade neighbourhood south of Raqqa.

The mine explosion left some civilians dead, the exact number of whom is not clarified yet, and left 8 others wounded.

Taking immediate action for the trapped civilians, SDF’s special units retrieved the bodies of slain civilians and rushed the wounded to hospital.

Two SDF fighters also suffered injuries during the rescue mission.
