Berlin: Protest against Turkish attack on Maxmur

Activists of the Kurdish youth movement TCŞ have protested in Berlin together with internationalists against the Turkish attack on the Maxmur refugee camp in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

On April 15, Turkish combat drones attacked the area around the Maxmur refugee camp, killing three civilians. Despite the pandemic, protests against the attack are taking place in many places around the world. Activists of the Kurdish youth movement TCŞ and other internationalists protested together against the attacks in Berlin. During the action, the deadly EU policy of sealing off refugees was also discussed. The spontaneous action lasted half an hour and ended with a demonstration.

There was also a protest action in Berlin against attacks by fascists on Kurdish associations. The young people sprayed anti-fascist slogans on the walls of various Turkish fascist centres.
