A bomb attack targeting military parade killed nine and injured 20 in city of Mahabad, East Kurdistan.

Governor General of West Azarbaijan Vahid Jalalzadeh confirmed nine killed to IRNA agency. According to Jalalzadeh, the attack took place as people were watching a military parade.

"The blast happened this morning at around 10:30 local time. Most of the nine killed are women and children. Dozens are injured. So far nobody has claimed responsibility," Iranian Arabic language television Al-Alam reported.

No one claimed responsibility of the attack.
