Civaka Azad announces Newroz events in 5 Austrian cities and in Budapest

Civaka Azad called for participation in the Newroz events to be held in 5 Austrian cities as well as in Budapest, with the slogan "Solidarity with earthquake victims with the spirit of victory".

Newroz celebrations will be held in 5 Austrian cities as well as in Budapest, promoted by Civaka Azad, with the slogan "Let's solidarity with earthquake victims with the spirit of victory".

Civaka Azad co-presidency announced that events will be organized in Vienna, Innsbruck, Graz, Bregenz, and Linz, as well as in Budapest.

The co-presidency said: “Newroz is the day of resistance. It is also a festival of freedom where the struggle against all kinds of slavery, oppression, genocide and assimilation policies begins and ends.”

The co-presidency condemned the invasion and genocidal attacks carried out by the Turkish state against Kurdistan and the Kurdish people, and the isolation policies imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan. "Despite all these policies implemented by the fascist Turkish Republic, we will not give up on our own struggle. We will not bow to the policies of oppression and persecution; we will develop our organized struggle to break the isolation on Rêber Apo [Abdullah Öcalan], to hold Turkey accountable for the crimes against humanity it committed against the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas and to ensure the freedom of our people. We will celebrate Newroz everywhere. For this reason, we invite all of our people to participate to the Newroz celebrations.”
