Turkish army continues bombing Cudi Mountain in Sirnak region.

It is reported that While Turkish army which has been conducting a military operation in Cudi Mountain set fire on the forest land also bombed the area with mortar shells and howitzers.

The locals reported that the fire in Heblêr (Hisar), Þax (Çaðlayan) and Tuþimiya Valley is extending.

Clashes in Herekol and Besta

The military operation started after guerrilla’s ambush on gendarmerie and police bases in Pervari district of Siirt is extended in Herekol and Besta mountains. It is reported that the clashes between the PKK forces and the Turkish soldiers are getting harder.

Locals stated that after the Turkish air forces bombed the operation area the forest caught fire.
