Death toll rises to 4, confirmed cases to 359 in Turkey

168 more cases have been confirmed in Turkey in the last one day.

Turkish Minister of Health announced the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus pandemic in the country Thursday night.

The minister said that of the total 1,981 tests conducted during the past 24 hours, 168 resulted positive, bringing the total number of confirmed infection cases in the country to 359.

The minister also announced the death of an 85-year-old woman, noting that another patient who had died before her was also determined to have been infected with the virus.

“Our death toll has, unfortunately, risen to 4. Our pain has grown but we will succeed”, he added.
