FED-KURD calls for participation in Saturday’s rally in Düsseldorf

FED-KURD called for participation in a demonstration to be staged in Düsseldorf, Germany on Saturday to protest the latest Turkish offensive in South Kurdistan and KDP’s cooperation with the Turkish forces.

FED-KURD released a written statement concerning the Turkish attacks on the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

The statement emphasized that the Kurdish people are fighting a war of survival, saying, “We must work and make efforts for the freedom of Kurdistan all the time, not just one day. We must resist and invent radical and creative actions until we get results.”

“We believe that once the Kurdish people are united, no power will be able to interrupt the Kurdish march to freedom. Therefore, today is the day to stand up for our honour and bring the enemy to account for a free Kurdistan.

As Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan once said, ‘liberty will prevail’ following this war. We urge the people of Kurdistan to join the central action to be staged in Düsseldorf on Saturday, April 30,” the statement noted.
