Gangs in Idlib go at each other again

Clashes among gang groups in Idlib and Aleppo provinces have flared up again.

Reports say the Al Qaeda linked Tahrir Sham Committee launched operations against their former ally Nureddin Zengi group.

Large numbers of casualties are reported from both sides in various clashes and both groups have confiscated equipment from each other.

A large Tahrir Sham convoy was seen advancing from Idlib city center towards the Nureddin Zengi group’s bases in the countryside.

Tahrir Sham has launched attacks with heavy weapons in Dana and Atme.

The MİT-backed Nureddin Zengi group had joined the Tahrir Sham Committee in January 2017 when it was first founded, but had announced their separation 6 months later during clashes with Ahrar Sham.
