Two guerrillas carried out a self-sacrificial action against the TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industries Corporation) facility in Kazan district of Ankara at around 15:30 on 23 October,

In a statement on 25 October, the People's Defence Centre (HSM) Headquarters Command announced that the action was carried out by Asya Alî (Mine Sevjin Alçiçek) and Rojger Hêlîn (Ali Örek), an autonomous team of the Battalion of the Immortals.

 Gerilla TV broadcast a special video of more than six minutes with the title ‘Two self-sacrificial militants in the heart of the enemy in Ankara’, which includes the moments of the action and the speeches of both guerrillas.

In the video, it is stated that the two self-sacrificial fighters ‘became a volcano of revenge in the heart of Ankara’. It is said that ‘TUSAŞ headquarters was conquered’ and ‘they fought for 74 minutes’.

Emphasising the heroism of the self-sacrificial militants, the video ends with the words ‘Our comrades Asya and Rojger have written their names in golden letters in the history of our struggle by showing with their practices that the Apoist self-sacrificial spirit cannot be stopped’ over a smiling photo of two militants making the victory sign.
