HDP co-chair Pervin Buldan and Foreign Affairs Spokesman Hişyar Özsoy met with ambassadors of EU countries at a luncheon in Ankara hosted by Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut, Head of the EU Delegation to Turkey. During the talks, Buldan presented the HDP's assessments of the political and economic crisis in Turkey and evaluated the debate on possible snap elections.

Other topics of discussion included the still unimplemented ruling of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) on the release of former HDP leader Selahattin Demirtaş, the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan and the other prisoners on Imrali, the show trial in the Kobanê trial and the closure case against the HDP.

Pervin Buldan answered numerous questions of the ambassadors during the meeting and stated that despite massive repression, the HDP is growing stronger and is a crucial player in the necessary political change in Turkey.
