While Turkey is trying to collaborate with whole world against the Kurdish rebels, Iraq has refused to take part in a war against the PKK.

The Iraqi government spokesman Ali Debagh stated that Turkey has officially asked the Iraqi government to fight against PKK together with Turkey, Iraqi authorities, however refused Turkey’s request. In an official press release Ali Debagh said that Turkey wanted Iraq to be a part of three-headed mechanism but Iraq’s role is limited to find a solution. He further stated that Iraqi forces will not take part in any physical war against the Kurdish rebels.
