'Journey of Freedom' ends today in Cologne

The march that internationalists and Kurdish youths started in Dortmund 5 days ago to demand freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan ends today in Cologne.

The ‘Journey of Freedom’ march attended by nearly 40 internationalists and nearly 200 Kurdish young people from Germany, Switzerland, France, England, Spain, Italy and Bolivia to demand freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan will end today.

On the 4th day of the march, on Thursday, the young activists arrived in Düsseldorf. Today they will set off towards Cologne.

Activists held an event on Thursday evening at the Düsseldorf Democratic Kurdish Community Center to commemorate Berxwedan Çiyager, who fell as a martyr as the result of a Turkish state's attack on Medya Defense Areas.
