KCDK-E calls for mobilisation for the 25-day march in France

KCDK-E called for mobilisation for the 25-day march from Paris to Strasbourg for the freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The Congress of Democratic Societies of Kurdistan in Europe (KCDK-E) released a statement calling for mobilisation for the 25-day march from Paris to Strasbourg with the slogan “Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, Justice for Kurds".

The fascist AKP-MHP government  is trying to prolong its life

The statement emphasised that Turkey, Kurdistan and the Middle East are going through an extremely critical process, "On the one hand, the occupation and massacres carried out by the occupying Turkish state, on the other hand, the genocidal war against the people of Kurdistan with the heavy isolation of Rebêr Apo (Leader Abdullah Öcalan) is getting deeper and deeper."

"The fascist AKP-MHP government, which has already entered collapse, is trying to prolong its life by means of isolation, massacre and occupation policies," said the statement and continued:

CPT does not play its role

"One of the responsible parties for this situation of Rebêr Apo, to whom the fascist Turkish state is brazenly applying isolation and pressure, is the Council of Europe and CPT. The CPT of the Council of Europe, of which Turkey is a member, does not play its role in any way.

Rebêr Apo is not just anyone. Rebêr Apo is the hope of the Kurdish people and the peoples of the Middle East, the solution power and leader of the thought that develops peace against war, democracy against oppression and occupation, and common life against conflicts. With the paradigm he has developed, he is the leader of the peoples of the world, intellectuals, those who seek democracy and freedom.

Erdoğan dreams of surviving by deepening genocide and massacres

The Turkish state is waging a war against all the peoples living in Turkey and the Middle East in the person of Rebêr Apo and against all the values of the Kurdish people. Dictator Erdoğan dreams of surviving by deepening genocide and massacres of peoples.

The fact that the solution of the Kurdish question and the democratisation of Turkey depends on Rebêr Apo playing his role as a free man is confirmed by statements made all over the world. Institutions, intellectuals and internationalists in favour of democracy, justice, equality and freedom are conveying this message to the world with their calls.

In the 25-day march that will start on 22 January with the slogan 'Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, Justice for Kurds', the insistence for the freedom of Rebêr Apo will be repeated on all routes that the marchers will pass. The 25-day march will start on 22 January at Rue La Fayette - Nation and end on 15 February in Strasbourg, France."

KCDK-E concluded the statement with the following call: "We call on everyone, especially the people of Kurdistan, intellectuals, artists, ecologists, women's rights defenders, and all those in favour of freedom and equality to participate in this march with different and creative activities, and to welcome the activists enthusiastically on all the routes the march will take.”
