Hunger strikes against the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan are spreading.

Huseyin Yildiz is the latest Kurdish activist to join the hunger strike to demand the end of the isolation against Kurdish people’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Yildiz went on hunger strike in the Dutch city of Den Haag and said he has decided to follow on the path initiated by HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven who is now on the 74th day of hunger strike.

“We have gone through centuries of oppression and massacres. - said Yildiz - We will free Mr. Öcalan and Kurdistan and claim for a bill long a century.”
