Prisoners, members of the PKK and PJAK stated that as of 14 July they will reject the jurisdiction of the ‘courts of the colonialist Turkish state’ and they will boycott the hearings.
Kurdish political prisoners in the Turkish prisoners are launching the most important protest of the recent years. Prisoners will not testify before the court and will not demand anything from the ‘judiciary of the colonialist Turkish state’
Deniz Kaya, the spokesperson of the Kurdish prisoners stated that “Brutal colonialism showed its real face once again by beheading the bodies of deceased guerrillas. The Turkish army is violating international law and using chemical weapons against the Kurdish rebels, destroying their dead bodies and kidnapping the bodies from their families. In order to protest the approach of the Turkish state, as of 14 July 2010 no Kurdish political prisoner will attend the hearing before any Turkish courts”
