ST. GALLEN
Activists from Ciwanên Şoreşger in St. Gallen, Switzerland, hung banners to draw attention to the situation of political prisoners in Turkey.
Banners in German saying "The PKK is fighting for a free world", "Freedom for Ocalan" and "Freedom for all political prisoners in Turkey" were hung during the night.
BIELEFELD
Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Jinên Ciwan ên Azad activists in the city of Bielefeld, Germany, handed out statements that exposed the KDP and its cooperation with the fascist Turkish state in the attack against Maxmur camp.
As part of the action, leaflets were left in the mailbox of nearly a thousand apartments in the city of Bielefeld.
The statement also called on people to join the HDP-led 'Twin Family' Campaign to help people affected by the consequences of the coronavirus.
FREIBURG
The activists of Jinên Ciwan ên Azad Freiburg, gathered in Freiburg to draw attention to the increasing in violence against women. The young women said that the freedom of women depends on the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan and on not accepting the male-dominated mentality.
The women said: "During the coronavirus epidemic, violence and murders against women are increasing all over the world. Women's freedom is essential in the freedom struggle of the Kurdish Freedom Movement. Society cannot be free without women being free. President Apo has been imprisoned on imralı Island for more than 21 years and is a major actor in the solution of the Kurdish problem."
COLOGNE
Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger activists in the city of Cologne also carried out a poster protest. The activists said in their statement that Kurdish youth should increase the resistance against betrayal.
The statement adde: "Kurdish youth should raise the resistance wherever they are. All Kurdish people, beginning with young people, should never forgive those who sell the blood of ourpeople for the sake of their interests."
