Kurds and their friends living in Rennes took to the streets to protest the international conspiracy against Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Many people gathered in Place de Colombier square, after the Democratic Kurdish Society Association and the Zin Women's Association promoted a march which continued to the Republiqe Square.

The demonstrators who gathered under the slogan "Let us break the isolation, let us free our Leader" chanted slogans such as 'Freedom for Öcalan' and 'status for Kurdistan'.
