The mobile Öcalan library visited the Swiss city of Solothurn on Tuesday. Between 12 and 6 pm, activists informed the population of Solothurn about women's liberation, ecology and radical democracy based on the Kurdish people’s leader paradigm.
The mobile “Öcalan library” has been touring Swiss cities for the past three days, setting off from Zurich. The campaign is supported by the Swiss Kurdish umbrella organization CDK-S. Material has been distributed at the information stands in three languages, German, French and English. The revolution in Rojava has generated even greater interest in the books and thoughts of Abdullah Öcalan.
The co-chair of the Alevi European Association FEDA, Demir Çelik, also visited the library. He told ANF: " Öcalan’s paradigm is the only alternative to respond to the need for freedom, nature, free life and democracy for women."
The Öcalan mobile library will stop in Lausanne today, at Place du St. Laurent between 2 and 6 pm. On Thursday, the library will end its tour in Geneva and will be accessible between 1 and 6 pm at the Plaine de Plainpalais.
