Mobile ‘Öcalan Library’ tour completed in Switzerland

The ‘Öcalan Library’, which distributes books and discusses the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's paradigm, has completed its Swiss tour in Lausanne.

The mobile "Öcalan Library" program, which was held in Switzerland to promote books written by Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan on Imrali, came to an end in Lausanne on Wednesday.

the Öcalan Library event began in Zurich on March 26 with the slogan "Wê azadî bi serkeve" (Freedom will win). The activists then visited the cities of Lucerne and Solothurn before completing their tour in Lausanne and meeting the Swiss people.

The dozens of books by Abdullah Öcalan on Capitalist Civilization, Sociology of Freedom, Democratic Confederalism, Democratic Nation, War and Peace, and Women's Revolution were distributed to the Swiss people, who were also informed about the Kurdish national struggle.

Members of Democratic Kurdish Community Centre (CDK) Lausanne spoke to ANF about the mobile library event which has attracted great public attention. Lajin Women's Council spokesperson Özlem Yavuz stated that, "The ideas of Leader Öcalan on women's liberation, ecological life, and democracy, which are the basis of his paradigm, are embraced with great interest by the Swiss people."

CDK Lausanne Co-chair Sıtkı Demir, noting that the mobile library event started in Zurich on March 26 with the slogan "Freedom will win", said, "We are ending the library event in Lausanne today, but we will keep working to spread our Leader's freedom paradigm to the people. In this scope, our events will continue till the 4th of April, our Leader's birthday.”
