At least one Turkish soldier was killed and another one was injured in a blast took place in Gurpinar district of Van last night where the Turkish army have been conducting a military operation against the Kurdish guerrillas for 3 days, said Turkish officials.

While the officials have claimed that a land mine caused the blast HPG has not made a statement regarding the incident yet.

The operation in Norduz region of Gurpinar was started 3 days in which special forces are taking part. It is also reported that the operation was extended around Ongün (Aþxan), Geçerli (Melkoþk), Kapýdað (Sipindar), Daðseven (Þivreþ) villages.
