Soldiers and police raided a number of houses during the night in Suruç, province of Urfa. 

Nine young people have been taken into custody following the raids, apparently in Newroz celebrations-related accusation.

One of the youth detained has been named as Mehmet Bülbül, while the identities of the others could not be established.

The detainees were taken to the District Police Department.
