Roadside bomb leaves 4 Turkish soldiers injured

A remote-controlled bomb that targeted Turkish military vehicles in the Kurdish region left at least 4 Turkish soldiers injured including one said to be in critical conditions, says local sources.

It is reported that the roadside bomb targeting the military convoy carrying soldiers to the operation area in Kato Mountain near Çatak district of Van province was detonated today in the morning, 30 June 2010.

While the wounded have been hospitalised the military operation against the PKK guerrillas has been extended.
