Swedish Left Party former leader supports Leyla Guven
Former leader of the Swedish Left Party Lars Ohly said, “We support Leyla Guven who is fighting for an end to the isolation against Ocalan.”
Lars Ohly, who led the Swedish Left Party from 2004 to 2012, said they support Leyla Guven’s and other prisoners’ struggle to end the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
Ohly made a video and said HDP MP and DTK Co-chair Leyla Guven, who has been in prison for one year, is on day 77 of her hunger strike and asked everybody to support Guven.

“Her hunger strike is against Turkey violating human rights time after time and the isolation of Abdullah Ocalan,” said Ohly and added that the hunger strikes aim to help democratization in Turkey and prevent the country’s further descent into a fascist state.
Lars Ohly stressed the importance of supporting Guven and the Kurdish people and called on everybody to show support.
