In a written statement, Jinên Ciwanên Têkoşer (TEKO-JIN) and Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (TCŞ) said: “The free human approach created by Leader Öcalan in Kurdistan has become the greatest threat to the sovereign powers that see themselves as the owner of the world. Throughout history, the lands of Kurdistan and the Middle East, which all rulers have struggled to take control, have been the center of resistance against the system thanks to Öcalan.”

The youth organisations added: “Europe is one of the biggest responsible for this conspiracy that started exactly 22 years ago. The European states played the most important role in the surrender of Öcalan to the fascist Turkish state through an unprecedented interstate cooperation. European states and institutions are still the biggest obstacle to the physical freedom of our Leader. For the Kurdish youth, the torture of isolation cannot be tolerated, and no development other than the physical freedom of our Leader will be enough for the Kurdish youth.”

The statement called “on all Kurdish and internationalist youth living in Europe to begini an uninterrupted action to ensure the physical freedom of our Leader and to say "Bi Hev Re Serhildan for the Freedom of the Leader". We call on the youth to join the marches to be held on 9 October, to be at the forefront of the "World Freedom for Öcalan Day" protests on October 10 and to participate in the great youth march to be held in Mannheim, Germany on October 17.”
