Aysel Tuðluk, Co-Chair of Democratic Society Congress (DTK) has once again applied to the Bursa Prosecutor to grant her a visit with Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan, who is in prison in Imrali island. The visit aimed to discuss with the Kurdish leader about the current PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) unilateral ceasefire which will end on October 31.
Öcalan had warned in her first visit to Imralý that if there is no change he will withdraw from a responsibility. The visit is scheduled for today but no news have yet been released about whether or not Tuðluk will be able to go to Imrali at this crucial time.
Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) applied to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) for Aysel Tuðluk and Ahmet Türk’s re-enter the Parliament. Co-Chairs of Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Tuðluk and Turk were deputies of the pro-Kurdish Party Democratic Society Party (DTP) until their immunity was lifted last year, following the ban of the DTP.
