Urfa Governorate banned actions and activities in the center and districts for 30 days.

Urfa Governorate imposed a ban on all actions and activities in the city center and districts for 30 days.

The statement remarked that the ban decision will not include the activities deemed appropriate by the central and district governorships.

The statement said the prohibition will be implemented between 20 March and 18 April. "According to Article 11 of the Provincial Administration Law No. 5442 and the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911 actions and activities are prohibited between 20 March and 18 April. Actions banned included gatherings, marches, press releases, hunger strikes, sit-in, rallies, opening of stands, information tents, leaflets distribution."
