Urfa Governorate announced that all actions and activities in the city centre and districts will be banned for a month, beginning 8 June.

The Governorate said in a statement: “All outdoor activities such as gathering, marches, press releases, hunger strikes, sit-in actions, rallies, stands, information tents, distributing leaflets / brochures, hanging banners are prohibited between 8 June and 7 July 2020.” The statement underlined the ban involves both the city centre and surrounding districts.
