Two young people from the DEM Party (Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party) who criticised Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan among themselves while walking on İnönü Street in Seyhan district of Adana were tortured by the police in the middle of the street.
They were handcuffed behind their backs and taken onto a police bus and tortured inside the bus.
They were kept in the police bus for an hour, and they were pepper sprayed in their faces.
The youngsters were released after intervention by their lawyers.
