Italian fighter Lorenzo Orsetti, who fell martyr on 18 March 2019 fighting against ISIS gangs in the North and East Syrian Federation, was commemorated on social networks due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The memorial program was canceled due to the outbreak. Special dossiers published online, posts, photos, radio programs made sure to underlined that Orsetti was not forgotten.

Orsetti's family, comrades and friends remembered the internationalist fighter with messages shared on social networks. Hundreds of people also shared video messages both from Italy and around the world.

In Rifredi, Florence, many people sang Bella Ciao from the balconies of their houses to salute Lorenzo and put the YPG flag on their windows.
