More civilians kidnapped in Afrin

The Turkish state and allied jihadist occupation forces have kidnapped several civilians in Afrin.

The war crimes of the Turkish-Jihadist occupation forces in Afrin are not abating. Thousands of people have been abducted since the onset of the Turkish army's unlawful war of aggression and joint jihadist militias against the northern Syrian canton on 20 January. Almost every day reports of abductions to extort a ransom are coming through.

Rojava-based ANHA news agency reported that several civilians have been kidnapped in Mabata district of Afrin on Sunday. The exact number of those affected cannot be quantified, but reports suggest that about several dozen residents have been kidnapped in villages of Mabata. The names of two of the abductees are Mihemed Xelîl Hemdî (60) and Fatma Hac Qadir (53). Sources from the Mirkan village reported that many residents have left their homes and fled the area because of the atrocities of occupation forces.

On the other hand, the invaders have distributed shrouds to the inhabitants in Coqê and the neighboring villages, threatening them to "Prepare for your death, you will not live much longer".
