Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are making further advances against ISIS in the last phase of the Operation Cizire Storm, dubbed the campaign “defeat terrorism” which was launched on September 11.

According to Hawar News Agency (ANHA), International Coalition aircraft targeted the ISIS base in Al-Shajil village of Hajin, killing 5 mercenaries.

Hajin is the last stronghold of ISIS in Deir ez-Zor territory.

SDF forces have recently liberated the village of Al-Bagouz, which was the defense line of ISIS in the region.

On the other hand, SDF Press Office reported that 5 ISIS members have been killed during ongoing clashes in Sajhal village.
