The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of Easter, the Christian feast of the resurrection, on April 17.

The AANES message on Saturday said,"We extend our warmest congratulations to the Christian brothers and sisters all over the world, Syria and north and east Syria in particular. We wish this Eid to be a feast of love, peace, security and safety.”
