Afrin and Shehba Martyrs' Families Council organized a march to condemn the isolation imposed on Leader Öcalan. Many families of martyrs attended the march held in the Ehras district of Shehba. Families carrying photos of Leader Öcalan and martyrs marched along the busy streets.

After a minute’s silence held at the Cemetery of the Epochal Resistance, the protest turned into a rally. Addressing the audience, Şehba Martyr Families Council member Hacir Memo said: “Martyrs’ families will fight to the end to break isolation. We know the purpose of the isolation imposed on Leader Öcalan. We will never give up the struggle for freedom. We will follow the path that Leader Öcalan showed us. We will never remain silent.”

Afrin Martyrs' Families Council member Menal Şêxo also drew attention to Öcalan's philosophy and said: "The basis of our free will is Leader Öcalan's ideas and philosophy. We will continue to fight for his freedom. He has become for us a symbol of resistance.”
