Amûdê People's Municipality continues the industrial project it started outside the city at full speed. 30 percent of the project, which started in March 2024, has been completed. According to the prepared project, there are 200 shops in the industrial site and a gas station at the entrance.

The shops in the industrial site, which was established on an area of ​​92 acres including streets and sidewalks, will be between 100 and 160 square meters.

According to the information provided by the project manager, the municipality will rent the workplaces on a public service basis.

There will be car repair shops, agricultural equipment and factories in the industrial site. The municipality wants to reduce pollution, congestion and traffic density in Amûdê with this project. The workplaces in the city will be moved to the industrial site.

It was the third project carried out in Amûdê. Industrial sites are being built in Manbij Canton and Girkê Legê city of Cizîrê Canton.
