The Turkish state continues to threaten Northern and Eastern Syria. Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu repeated the threats against the region and said they haven’t reached an agreement with the US about the “safe zone”. The people of Northern and Eastern Syria who live together in peace now continue to protest the threats in growing numbers.
“WE WILL STAND BY THE SDF”
Omeriya Clan’s leader Resad Xelil said: “Our military forces who fought and won against ISIS will of course stand against the Turkish state and defend the people. All peoples and faiths in Northern and Eastern Syria are determined to resist. We will support our military forces.”
“THE RESISTANCE AGAINST ISIS WILL BE REPEATED”

Cemal Hac Mensur from the Omera clan siad: “They attack the Democratic Nation project where we have organized ourselves in peace and security. As the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria, we fought against ISIS gangs in the same trenches. If the Turkish state attacks, we will repeat the resistance against ISIS.” Mensur added that the Turkish state resorts to threats of invasion because of the crisis the country is experiencing.

Leader of El Neim clan Yusif El Hemen said the peoples of Northern and Eastern Syria are united and added: “We condemn the Turkish state’s attacks. El Neim clan will resist the turkish state invasion.” Leader of the Yazidi Delef clan Delef Delef said: “Like we fought against ISIS gangs and prevailed, we will stand against the Turkish state attacks and we will win.”
