The co-chair of Deir ez-Zor Agricultural Committee, Mihemed Abdulaziz, was targeted by an attack on Saturday.

According to reports, a previously laid mine was detonated as Abdulaziz drove on the Abu Hashab road at noon.

Intense security measures have been taken in the area and an investigation has been launched into the incident.
