The international volunteers of YPG from all over the world, who joined the fight against ISIS for years, have responded the call to mobilize by Afrin local administration. Fighters stated that they will not stay silent while Afrin is being attacked by Turkish occupation army. “We’ve been fighting against ISIS terrorism for years. No one should expect us to stay silent when the territories saved from ISIS with blood are being invaded.''

Now, the foreign volunteers have arrived in Afrin to fight against the invasion operation by the Turkish state and allied gang groups gathered under the name of “Free Syrian Army”.

One of those internationalist, Sîpan, spoke to YPG Press Office and told that he came to Afrin to defend the people.
