Hundreds of Christians gathered in the northern Syrian city of Hasakah on the occasion of Christmas, in an atmosphere of joy, pleasure and security thanks to the forces that protected the region from mercenaries.
With the bells of the Church of the Virgin in the Al-Kalasah neighborhood of Hasakah, hundreds of Christians arrived in the area to pray and perform religious rituals on this day.
They prayed by reading religious hymns from the Holy Bible, while decorating the church with the Christmas tree and lighting candles.
In turn, the priest of the church spoke briefly before the audience, explaining the importance of this day and why it is celebrated.
