Coronavirus cases in North East Syria reach 2,351

The Health Committee of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, announced that 37 more coronavirus cases were detected across the region.

Ciwan Mustafa, co-chair of the Health Committee of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, announced that 37 more coronavirus cases were detected across the region, and 2 people died due to Covid-19.

In his statement, Mustafa said that the patients who died due to the virus were two men from Hesekê and Girkê Legê.

The statement also recorded that 11 of the 37 new cases were women, while the distribution of the cases by cities was listed as follows: Hesekê 15, Qamishlo 10, Dêrik 3, Dirbesiyê 2, Rimêlan 2, Girkê Legê 1, Tirbesipiyê 1, Çilaxa 1, Tabqa 1, Shehba 1.

The Health Committee also said that 12 patients recovered bringing the total number of people who recovered to 571.

According to the latest data, the total number of cases increased to 2,351 and the total number of deaths to 79 in the Northern and Eastern Syria regions.
