The canton of Qamıshlo decided to set up an Emergency Committee to cope with natural disasters. The meeting was held at the Qamishlo Canton office in the neighborhood of Cudî and was attended by co-chair Perwîn Yûsif, defense, health, public order and Heyva Sor a Kurd executives.

At the meeting, it was decided to establish an Emergency Committee to cope with situations which could emerge as a result of natural disaster.

Co-chair of the Council, Perwîn Yûsif, said that the Committee will respond to emergency situation and will be working 24 hours a day.
