Responding to Turkey’s threats of invasion against North-East Syria, Girê Spî Military Council Commander Riyad Xelef said, “The Turkish state will be met with historic resistance in these lands.”
Girê Spî Military Council Commander Riyad Xelef responded to Turkey’s threats to launch yet another invasion operation against North-East Syria.
Speaking in Ain Issa on Sunday, Xelef said: “The Turkish state will be met with historic resistance in these lands. The war will not be limited to one single point. It will spread everywhere.”
Xelef pointed to Damascus government’s military dispatchment to battle fronts, emphasising that it was a duty for all Syrians to defend their lands.
Xelef remarked that the Damascus government bore the responsibility to stand against Turkey’s threats as per the 22 October 2019 agreement. He added that all the occupied territories would be liberated.
