The Afrin Liberation Forces (Hêzên Rizgariya Afrinê, HRE) have published a summary of their resistance actions against the Turkish occupying forces in the past week.
According to this, at least 14 members of the occupying power were killed in attacks on Turkish bases and other attacks in Afrin and the surrounding area, including seven soldiers from the Turkish army. "Our retaliatory actions against the attacks by the Turkish occupying state on our areas will be continued," the HRE announced.
According to the statement, on 10 October, a militia leader was killed in a special operation in Mare and another mercenary was injured. Two mercenaries were injured in an action on the road to Afrin-Cindirês. A day later, another mercenary was shot dead by an HRE sniper in Mare.
On 12 October, attacks on four military bases in Afrin and al-Bab took place, killing five soldiers of the Turkish army. On the same day, five mercenaries were killed in an action in al-Bab and their vehicle was badly damaged. On 14 October, two soldiers were killed and another soldier was injured in an action against the Turkish army in the village of Kefercan in Afrin. On 16 October, the HRE destroyed a jihadist vehicle in Afrin.
